ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor/Master degree: 240 ECTS or equivalent in the field of Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture or related fields
  • Proficiency in English (at least B2 Level according to Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) for Languages

PARTICIPATION COSTS & SCHOLARSHIPS

  • Programme country applicants: 4500 € / year
  • Partner country applicants: 9000 € / year
  • 22 Erasmus Mundus scholarships (19 from partner countries and 3 from programme countries)
  • Erasmus Mundus scholarship covers tuition fees, participation costs, contribution to travel and installation costs, and monthly allowance

OVERVIEW

SEAS 4.0 is a 90 ECTS integrated, international, innovative, and methodologically diversified course to award a double Master Degree.

It is taught in English and developed by the University of Napoli Federico II, University of A Coruna, University of Zagreb and Technical University Hamburg.

OBJECTIVES

SEAS 4.0 Master programme will train future engineers and increase their employment competitiveness in the multidisciplinary and global domain of ship design, construction, and management.

SEAS 4.0 Master programme will couple environmental and legal competencies, knowledge of the economic framework of green and sustainable economy, digitalisation related to the newest needs in the fields of shipbuilding and maritime transport in student-centered education increasing cultural competencies and life-long learning attitudes.

PROGRAMME DESCRIPTION

SEAS 4.0 Master programme is based on a series of content blocks which represent the basic topics which are dealt with during the degree:

  • Energy Efficiency and Sustainability (EES)
  • Simulation and modelling (SIM)
  • Information systems and data management (IDM)
  • Robotics & Autonomous Systems (RAS)
  • Polar routes challenges in structure and technology (PR)
  • Ship operation, management and infologistics (SO)
