Future Naval Architects should have skills and knowledge necessary to face sustainable lifecycle design of future ships, to enable implementation of advanced simulation and optimization procedures, and to apply digital technologies in ship production and management. Furthermore, the engineers are increasingly being challenged by requirements for efficient design of innovative and unconventional vessels, new shipping routes (e.g. in Polar waters), and more stringent environmental regulations.

Hence, the goal of the SEAS 4.0 Master Programme is to educate and form talented young engineers with state-of-the-art knowledge related to new trends and maritime industry. Particularly, SEAS 4.0 will allow the development of advanced knowledge in ship design in augmented reality, industry 4.0 implementation in ship building process, simulation and optimization of ship structure and furthermore arctic technology and autonomous ships.

Courses are delivered by university professors as well as scientific and technical experts.
